Choreography and Performance- Katherine Moore and Kathryn Nusa Logan
Sound and video- Kathryn Nusa Logan

TCBTS is a work-in-progress with plans for eventual production as an evening-length work. Iterations have been shown live at Keshet Center for the Arts, through their MakerSpace Residency (2023), as well as virtually with Hub Dance Collective in Hattiesburg, MS (2021) and Movement Research Open Performance in NYC (2022).

TCBTS is an evolving, iterative duet and improvisational score that investigates the daily passage of time and light as a method for responding to emergency on both intimate and planetary scales.  Built from site-based somatic research, this work examines ritualized dusk practices as pathways for refamiliarization with the earth, its crises, and opportunities for connection across distance. Via a symbolic, cyclical movement terrain that ranges from the quotidian to the fantastical, TCBTS offers images and metaphors for survival through both imaginary and everyday means. Explorations with digital projection and materially-altered space create portals for embodied transformation in unsteady landscapes.
